RUCID ORGANIC AGICULTURE TRAINING COLLEGE is found 4 km from Mityana town along Namutamba road, in Lubanja village, Kireku parish, Busimbi division, Mityana municipality, Mityana District. The college is an autonomous subsidiary of RURAL COMMUNITY IN DEVELOPMENT (RUCID), a limited company by guarantee.

The college started operations in 2007 offering certificates and diplomas in principles and practices of organic agriculture. RUCID started operations in 1994, working with rural farmers; however youths did not show  interest  in the interventions offered to the farmers. RUCID initiated and established  the college so that youths could also be involved in the drive of making agriculture sustainable into the future generation
