Virtual Exhibition Content Guidelines

1.0 Introduction

The National Council for Higher Education (NCHE) will host its first-ever Virtual Higher Education Exhibition (VHEE) from the 10th -12th November 2021. Unlike in the past Exhibitions, NCHE has shifted from static kiosks to the web or a Virtual Exhibition. This presents an active learning environment where users are empowered to make decisions about the tasks, content, navigation, presentation and assessment activities.

The platform will provide representatives of higher education institutions aiming to meet prospective students, young professionals, researchers and parents as well as university representatives who are interested in Uganda higher education.

Your institution will be able to interact virtually with potential higher education students and researchers worldwide but with a focus on East African Community. Promote your country, institution and study programmes at a virtual booth. The visitors can drop by and interact with you in different ways.

1.1 Participating institutions will be offered:

  1. An individual virtual booth with;
  • chat/video chat functions where counselling and consultation are possible
  • the possibility to upload information material, incl. brochures, PDF forms, video clips, etc. and to refer to the main websites providing general information on the study and research opportunities, funding options, career Guidance etc.
  • the opportunity to hold your own information session in a breakout room at your booth
